The herbal tea contains ten ingredients and I am familiar with all of them. My parents used to buy them a lot from Asian markets. We don’t make tea with the herbs. Instead, we cook them with chicken and eat it that way. All the goodness would be in the chicken broth and it also tastes so much better than a plain herbal tea. There are ten bags in the order and we use one to two bags for each chick.

This tea comes individually wrapped bags but without filter. You will need to pour the content into a filter and keep it in hot water for about 5 mins or so. The longer you steep it, the better the flavor. The ingredients are dried so they will expand when in water so make sure to use a big enough filter for it, you can also put it directly in the water as some of the ingredients are quite tasty to eat when they are soften. I like eating the jujube date and the goji berry. The drink has an herbal taste and with a mild sweetness. It’s a very healthy tea that is enjoyed as hot and cold. I’d highly recommend this tea.

I use one small bag of tea to make two large cups of tea. I steep the contents of the bag in freshly boiled water for about 10 minutes. The tea has a slightly sweet and fruity taste, and I like it. The mix can be re-steeped at least two more times to produce the same quality and flavor tea. Actually, the second round has even a richer flavor. Very good tea!

The individual bags make portions a breeze, but the woody flavor isn’t my thing. This is loose tea, not tea bags. You’ll have to tear open the bags and dump them into a strainer. As a side note, all text is Chinese. You’ll have to refer back to the listing if you have any questions about the tea.

This tea has a nice combination of ingredients, all touted for their health benefits. I have never seen this amount of variety in bulk form before. Everything is pieces rather than powder or leaf.
The tea brews nicely when done as directed. I was able to use it 3 times and still had good flavor. Added some raw honey and it was tasty.
Will try it in my chicken stock when it’s cool enough to cook again.
Very functional –
This is a pack of 10 loose tea in bags. (The tea is packaged individually, but they are loose, so you’ll need a strainer). It tastes fruity and quite different from the herbal teas I get from my supermarkets. I love that I can see (and sort of identify) which ingredient is which. Everything is written in Chinese, however, so you’ll have to check the product page to see if you should avoid this due to food allergies. $13.88 (at the time of this review) is a good deal compared to similar products.

I love my teas iced, especially in the summer, but this tea I prefered hot even when it is over 100 degrees outside. The flavor and aroma are much better when hot and are quite dulled and diminished when served iced.
I didn’t find the need to sweeten the tea, but some may prefer a light touch of sweetener.
It is easy to brew as the ingredients are in individual bags.
